1. Acceptance of these Terms
These Terms of Service govern access to and use of the Ready Readers website, online educational programs, interactive courses, workshops, digital learning materials, quizzes, challenges, progress tools, AI-assisted learning features, and related support services. “Ready Readers,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to the provider of these services. “You” and “your” refer to the individual accessing the website or purchasing, registering for, or participating in a service.
By using the website, submitting a learning request, registering for a program, or purchasing a service, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the website or services. If you use the services for another person, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that person.
You must be at least 18 years old to purchase services. A parent or legal guardian may purchase services for a minor and remains responsible for the minor’s participation, conduct, and compliance with these Terms. We may request reasonable information to confirm eligibility or authorization.
2. Educational services
Ready Readers provides online educational services for individuals. Offerings may include personalized learning programs, interactive online courses, AI-assisted learning tools, gamified learning experiences, assignments, quizzes, learning challenges, digital educational materials, personalized study plans, progress tracking and analytics, online workshops, productivity and digital skills training, and critical thinking and problem-solving programs.
Specific scope, duration, format, learning objectives, schedules, deliverables, access periods, and pricing are described on the relevant service page, written proposal, order confirmation, invoice, or enrollment communication. Where those documents conflict with these general Terms, the more specific written service terms control for that engagement.
Services are delivered remotely. Participation may require a reliable internet connection, a supported browser or device, audio or video capability for live sessions, and access to commonly used digital tools. You are responsible for your equipment, connectivity, and any third-party charges. We may reasonably update course sequencing, instructors, materials, assessment formats, or technical features while preserving the overall purpose of the purchased service.
Educational content is provided for learning and informational purposes. Completion does not guarantee a particular credential, employment outcome, income level, examination result, admission decision, promotion, or other personal or professional result unless a written agreement expressly states otherwise.
3. Registration and account responsibility
Some services may require an account, enrollment record, access code, or verified email address. Information supplied during registration must be current, accurate, and complete. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials and for activity that occurs through your account. You must promptly tell us if you believe access has been compromised.
Accounts and course access are personal and may not be sold, transferred, shared, or used to provide access to another person unless we approve in writing. We may suspend access while investigating suspected misuse, payment issues, security incidents, or violations of these Terms.
4. Requests, orders, and pricing
Website prices are starting prices or standard package prices unless explicitly identified as fixed. Personalized work may require a scope review. Before paid work begins, we will communicate the applicable service, scope, price, schedule, and material assumptions in writing. A submitted website form is a request for review and is not automatically an accepted order.
An order becomes binding when we issue written confirmation or an invoice and you accept it by the method stated in that communication. Taxes, payment processing charges, or approved out-of-scope work may be added when applicable and will be disclosed before collection. Unless otherwise stated, prices are in United States dollars.
Payment timing and available methods will appear on the invoice or checkout interface. You authorize us and our payment service providers to process the amount shown. We do not intentionally collect full payment card details through the contact form. Failed, reversed, disputed, or overdue payments may delay or suspend access. You remain responsible for valid, undisputed amounts and reasonable collection costs permitted by law.
Promotions, credits, scholarships, or discounts may have separate eligibility rules and expiration dates. They have no cash value, are not transferable, and cannot be combined unless expressly allowed.
5. Scheduling, cancellation, and refunds
You may request cancellation by contacting us using the details at the end of these Terms. Cancellation is effective when received and confirmed by us. For a live workshop or scheduled session, a request received at least 48 hours before the start time may be moved once to another available date or refunded, less any clearly disclosed non-recoverable transaction fees. A request received less than 48 hours before the start time, or a missed session, is generally non-refundable because instructor time and capacity have been reserved.
For a digital course or program, you may request cancellation within seven calendar days after purchase if you have not accessed a substantial portion of the materials, attended a live session, downloaded restricted resources, or received personalized work. If substantial delivery has begun at your request, any approved refund may be reduced by the reasonable value of services and materials already provided. Personalized study plans, custom materials, assessments, and other made-to-order work are non-refundable after work begins, except where required by law or where we fail to deliver the agreed scope.
Monthly services may be canceled before the next billing date to stop future renewal. Cancellation does not retroactively refund a completed billing period. If we cancel a paid service for reasons unrelated to your breach, we will offer a reasonable replacement, credit, or refund for the undelivered portion. Nothing in this section limits non-waivable consumer rights.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the website and services lawfully and for personal educational purposes. You may not: interfere with platform security or operation; attempt unauthorized access; introduce malware or automated scraping; copy or redistribute substantial course content; share restricted access; impersonate another person; submit unlawful, threatening, discriminatory, or infringing material; harass instructors or participants; manipulate quizzes or progress records; use the services to train a competing product without permission; or use educational materials in a manner that violates academic, professional, or institutional rules.
Interactive areas must remain respectful and relevant to learning. We may remove content, restrict participation, or suspend service where reasonably necessary to protect learners, staff, systems, intellectual property, or legal obligations. Serious or repeated violations may result in termination without refund to the extent permitted by law.
7. AI-assisted learning features
Some services may use automated or AI-assisted tools to generate practice prompts, recommend review topics, organize learning sequences, explain concepts, or summarize progress signals. These features are educational aids and may produce incomplete, outdated, or incorrect output. You should review material critically and confirm important information using qualified sources.
Do not submit sensitive personal data, confidential business information, protected health information, financial account credentials, or another person’s private data to an AI-assisted feature unless we explicitly request it through an approved secure process. We may use human review, safety controls, and quality checks, but we do not guarantee that every automated output will be error-free or suitable for a specific decision.
AI-assisted outputs do not constitute legal, medical, financial, mental health, or other regulated professional advice. You remain responsible for decisions, submissions, and work produced using these tools.
8. Intellectual property and license
The website, program structure, course content, instructional text, graphics, interfaces, quizzes, challenge designs, videos, audio, templates, methods, software, and branding are owned by or licensed to Ready Readers and are protected by intellectual property laws. We retain all rights not expressly granted.
After full payment, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use purchased materials for your own learning during the stated access period. You may download materials specifically marked as downloadable and keep a reasonable personal copy. You may not publish, resell, sublicense, broadcast, reproduce in bulk, remove rights notices, create a competing course from, or otherwise commercially exploit the materials without prior written permission.
You retain ownership of original content you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and use that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the service and meet legal obligations. You represent that you have the rights required to submit it.
9. Third-party tools and links
Services may rely on third-party video conferencing, payment, hosting, analytics, communication, or learning tools. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply. We select providers with reasonable care but do not control their independent services. A reference or link does not constitute endorsement, and you should review applicable third-party terms before use.
10. Availability and disclaimers
We use reasonable efforts to provide reliable services, but internet-based systems may experience maintenance, technical faults, provider outages, security events, or circumstances beyond our control. We may temporarily limit access to protect security, perform maintenance, or comply with law. Where practical, we will provide notice and a reasonable alternative for material scheduled services.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the website and services are provided “as available.” We disclaim implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation. We do not warrant that any specific learning or career outcome will result. These exclusions do not apply where prohibited by law.
11. Limitation of liability and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ready Readers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost opportunities, lost data, or business interruption arising from the website or services. Our aggregate liability for a claim will not exceed the amount you paid to us for the service giving rise to the claim during the six months preceding the event. This limitation does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for intentional misconduct or other protected rights where applicable.
You agree to indemnify and hold Ready Readers harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use, infringement of another person’s rights, material you submit, or material breach of these Terms, except to the extent caused by our own misconduct.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the website at any time, subject to payment and cancellation obligations. We may suspend or terminate access where you materially breach these Terms, fail to pay undisputed charges, create security or safety risk, misuse content, or where continued service would violate law. When appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to correct the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive will remain effective, including payment, intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, dispute, and recordkeeping terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Before filing a formal claim, each party agrees to send a written description of the issue and make a good-faith effort to resolve it for at least 30 days. If the matter is not resolved, the parties consent to the state or federal courts with appropriate jurisdiction in Douglas County, Colorado, unless mandatory consumer law provides another forum. You may also use any consumer remedy that cannot be waived.
14. Changes and general terms
We may update these Terms to reflect service, legal, security, or operational changes. The “Last updated” date identifies the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated in a reasonable manner. Continued use after the effective date means the updated Terms apply to future use; changes will not retroactively alter a paid order unless required by law or agreed in writing.
If a provision is unenforceable, it will be limited to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without written consent; we may assign them as part of a lawful reorganization, financing, or transfer of the business, subject to applicable privacy obligations. These Terms, together with referenced policies and written order terms, form the entire agreement for the relevant service.
